DFA Roundtable Summary | Malaysia Event Highlights 2025

On September 23, 2025, the Digital Freight Alliance (DFA) welcomed members of the Executive Roundtable into the plush Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With much exclusivity, logistics giants, forwarders, and technologists were brought in to discuss emerging digital tools, share success stories, and deliberate on how the solutions and network of the DFA can foster sustainable growth for the industry at large.

Event overview

The roundtable's focus was to stimulate the digitalization of the freight forwarders under the theme, "Driving Forwarding Excellence Through Digital Innovation." The dialogues evolved around pressing issues of tomorrow's freight, such as emerging digital tools for decision-making, fostering innovation in the context of their daily businesses. Industry leaders learned about the barriers they face in implementing digital transformation and how technology could help in making the freight forwarding ecosystem more efficient, transparent, and sustainable.
