We are pleased to share the highlights of our meeting with the Digital Freight Alliance in January 2026. This monthly meeting is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other DFA members. The agenda covered in our previous meeting will be the foundation for this article, which has proven to be an excellent primer on the subject.
Vision & Strategy
The Digital Freight Alliance was founded in early 2020 as a union of logistics providers that use the technologies of SeaRates.com. With over 190 countries having its members, DFA aims to be the largest in the field of independent freight forwarders. Though there is tough competition, DFA remains the better choice due to its innovative ideas and technology. It is always looking for new avenues to be offered to the members.
To understand the philosophy behind how a wider vision grew from this beginning, one needs to know that DFA was born in DP World. And DP World was born from the cultural background of Dubai as an entrepôt. As barriers to world trade have progressively risen in the last ten years, DP World sees the digital revolution as an alternative engine to create growth.
To deliver this growth, however, we must provide the opportunity for SME forwarders to digitize and compete with large-scale players who are digitizing at scale. We believe SME forwarders who can “go global” are the key to prosperity.

Freighbrid Logistics was represented at the January 2026 Member Meeting by Mr. Arif Mohiuddin, Sales Manager, a logistics professional with over 20 years of experience in freight forwarding and shipping.
